My friend at work taught a few of us how to make these really cute aprons. I haven't sewed anything in a really long time (like since about 7th grade probably) and I was happy to finally put my sewing machine to use. It really wasn't too hard and they turned out great. I think they make a really great gift idea.

That IS really cute. My sister in law has been making some really fun aprons out of "vintage" looking fabric. She loves how feminine she feels when she wears them around the house as she goes about her day. I think she is planning on making a bunch for Christmas gifts. I'm glad that cute and feminine aprons are kind of coming back. Doesn't it make you feel so domestic? If I owned a sewing machine I might just try my hand at one.
Very cute Margee! Doesn't it feel good to do something house wifey like that once in a while. I canned chicken the other day, I felt like such a mormon wife. :) Good job on the apron!
I'm so impressed! That is darling. I think the apron fad is a fun one. I have bought material for several really fun one's but haven't gotten them made. I always forget to wear one of the 7 or 8 I already have so I guess I don't feel any pressure to get them done.
