Miss Maya Sept. 20-26

We love watching Maya play. She is so talented at lifting toys to her mouth and sucking on them. And she is such a good sitter.

Maya wants to butter your roll. Or maybe she's ready for a sword fight.

Happy Birthday Amanda!

Today Maya is 6 months old. And she has a little cold. Do I looked stuffed up, Mommy? This was Maya's first ride in the big girl seat in the grocery cart. Poor little sick Maya. This is the reason people's kids get sick from the grocery cart - people like me take their sick kids to public places. Sanitize!

Daddy? Can I help you?

Go Aggies! When I grow up I want to be a true Aggie!!

Cousins Sept 13-19

We've had a busy week, full of mixed emotions. My brother Redge and his wife Marissa found out a couple of months ago that the baby they were expecting was not going to survive. They have been waiting and hoping for the best and this week little Andreaux went to heaven. He was delivered on Monday and we were able to see him, and yesterday we said goodbye to our angel nephew with a very touching funeral.

Yesterday we also got the great news that Sachin's sister delivered her little girl and both mom and baby are doing well.

Maya got to see all of her other cousins too this week.

Although it has been a tough week we are so grateful for our family and the example Redge and Marissa have been for us and grateful that Andreaux is with Heavenly Father.

Maya playing with uncle Redge.

Maya trying to eat whatever she can get her hands on.

Maya and Riley with Kayden. Look at Riley's sweet face. These two are really fascinated with each other. It was really fun to see them interact.

Sweet Abigail. We didn't manage to get a picture of cousin Lucas for some reason. He and Abigail are just growing up so fast.

Curious little Emery.

Sweet Lizzie.

Saying goodbye to Andreaux by sending our love to heaven.

Shoma's sweet baby girl. 47 cm long, 2.78 kg (almost the same size as Maya was), Name: ? maybe Nicole.

Sitting Maya Sept 7-12

Maya loves to sit in her stroller and go all around the neighborhood. Sept. 7 was a great day for a stroll to see the neighbors and then doze off...

Maya got her newest equipment. Here she is sitting in her high chair on Sept 8. "Does this mean I get to eat more?" she asks.

Sept 9: Little "Alfalfa." We just can't get her hair to sit down. Should I dress her in a little suit and have her be a boy for Halloween?

I'm so big - I can sit all by myself (with Mom close by). Sept 10th.

Happy Patriot Day - Sept 11. Here's another sitting picture - another outfit - another lovely day with Maya.

Sept 12th I am sitting all by myself for minutes at a time. I am a strong little balancer. How did I get so big?

It's Been a Couple of Weeks

I've been behind in taking pictures, but here are a few pictures from the last couple of weeks. Maya just seems so grown up now. She is so interactive and always moving and playing. I can't believe she has changed so much. She's getting stronger and giving us a glimpse of what it's going to be like in a few weeks when she's trying to sit up and crawl and things like that.

Maya went with me to Hanna, UT at my friend's cabin. She loved being outside. Here she is laying in the grass looking up at the trees. She loves trees.

Look at the big girl sitting on the couch with her Daddy! What a face - she's so excited!

Watching football with Grandma. She was rooting for BYU. I think they just won - look at that face again!

Here is a little video of Maya giggling a lot and one of her playing.
