In case you haven't heard yet, our biggest news lately is that we are going to be parents! I can't describe how excited and grateful we feel for this big adventure coming up in our lives as a family. My due date is March 30th. The report from the doc is that everything is going great. Last week we had a check-up and heard the baby's heart beat again. On November 3rd we get to find out the gender of our 4.5 inch Elmo (this is the name he or she has been dubbed by my brother Redge - so I guess we will refer to the baby as Elmo until further notice). Here is a picture of Elmo at 11 weeks.

In September Sachin became a citizen of the United States of America, got an American passport, and registered to vote! As patriotic as he sounds, he still refuses to eat the great American staple of macaroni and cheese, but he is really excited to use his right to vote in the upcoming election. The ceremony for his Naturalization was very inspiring and he had family and friends there to support him. To sum it up, Sachin is "proud to be an American!"
